QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent
-
Able to pass a Pre-Employment Background Investigation and Drug Test
-
Minimum of Three (3) years of related experience with fire alarm and sprinkler systems

Knowledge and understanding of UFC, NFPA codes and standards for inspection, testing, and installation

Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
-
Ability to lift, measure, cut, install materials for small service/repair jobs

Fire Alarm Systems NICET certification preferred, or eligible to test or the willingness to obtain certification

Water based systems NICET certification preferred, or eligible to test or the willingness to obtain certification
OVERVIEW
-
Project Manager leads the Fire Protection team and has overall accountability for completing assigned Fire Protection project(s) successfully. Manager ensures that all contracted work is developed, implemented, and managed in accordance with the Customer and Company’s requirements, including but not limited to, safety, quality, management and financial performance requirements. Assists in cultivating opportunities for future construction projects by providing excellent customer service, maintaining quality assurance, and building financially successful project(s).

Fire Alarm Technician duties include inspection, testing and maintenance of various types of fire alarm systems, to include Monaco radio transmitters. Preparing reports according to NFPA 72 standards. Assisting in the installation of fire alarm & mass notification system devices, and radio transmitters.

Sprinkler Technician duties include assisting in the servicing, inspecting and testing of sprinkler systems to the prescribed standards, performing some on-site troubleshooting and repairs on fire sprinkler systems, identifying code and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely inspections and reports.
